Our student culture will play a key role in the experience at Great Opportunities and Boundless Innovations for Girls (G.O. B.I.G.).
We will create a safe and accessible environment where scholars are encouraged to discuss ideas, collaborate on projects, share their work and receive feedback with pride. We will give our scholars the foundation to reach their full potential and gain confidence both socially and academically.
Program Goal
The purpose of G.O. B.I.G. is to provide a diverse array of girls across the Charlotte region with a high-quality, world-class STEM education that will set them up for competitive success in their academic careers, college education, and life beyond.

STEM Curriculum
At G.O. B.I.G., we aim to inspire our scholars to explore STEM fields. "S.T.E.M" stands for Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math. Students will receive instruction aligned with the NC Standard Course of Study, with an emphasis on instruction on these four subjects.
Social Emotional Support
We value the importance of social emotional support for our scholars. Our classrooms will provide a high level of support to help students navigate their emotions and mental health. In addition, our character education program further supports our girls' well-being, ensuring they have the necessary tools to succeed academically and personally.

Innovative Instruction
As a public charter school, we are able to provide a support environment for our scholars to thrive in through small class sizes. Our scholars will receive personalized innovative instruction from teachers and staff that are welcoming, affirming, and highly qualified.
