Where all girls GO BIG and shine brightly in STEM

The G.O. B.I.G. Foundation is a Charlotte-based 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to empowering girls through immersive, hands-on STEM experiences. We provide, source, and support high-quality STEM opportunities that spark girls' curiosity, build confidence, and cultivate leadership by connecting girls to real-world STEM learning, mentors, and innovation. Our North star is to ensure that every girl—especially those from underrepresented groups and economically disadvantaged communities—has the opportunity, resources, and support to become a leader, creator, and problem-solver in STEM and the career of her choice.

STEM Education

While women make up nearly half of the U.S. workforce, they are still vastly underrepresented in the science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) workforce. We are aiming to close that gap with a specialized focus on STEM subjects built into our curriculum.
